Charity Beer Launch
Elland Brewery's launch of CHARLIE'S ALE in support of The Meningitis Trust's Charlie Mann Fund at The White Horse on Sunday 20 November was a huge success.
Over £3000.00 was raised by customers in just a few hours, as The White Horse community partied for all they were worth.
The beer is named after a baby from a local family who died from this terrible disease. A donation from every barrel sold will go to the Fund.
Entertainment was from top local singer Jamie Sykes and there was an Auction and a Raffle in aid of the fund. What a great afternoon!

Welcome to The White Horse at Emley, a traditional village pub serving a rotating selection of eight top quality cask beers and good, home-made food at reasonable prices. The pub is featured in the current edition of Camra's Good Beer Guide and has Cask Marque accreditation: clear indicators of its high standards.

The pub was refurbished recently and the attractive Bar features a stone flagged floor and open fires.

There is also an open fire in the Dining Room, which can seat 24 guests. Diners can also eat their meals in the Bar or Family Room.
